GP Connections established the Darling Downs South West Queensland Medicare Local (DDSWQML) which commenced operations on 2nd April 2012. GP Connections then transferred all Programs to the Medicare Local where they will continue to operate, grow and diversify. To access programs click here
GP Connections will continue to operate as a separate entity in its own right continuing as an organisation that will be dedicated to serving the whole of the general practice team.
As we are no longer funded by the Department of Health and Ageing, there will be a few necessary limitations to what we are initially able to deliver, but over time as we grow it is our intention to offer regular quality education, advocacy and support for general practitioners and the general practice team.
